GREEN BAY, Wis. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Green Bay volleyball team announced the full 2025 schedule. The Phoenix, led by eighth-year head coach Abbey Sutherland, is coming off a 16-17 campaign in 2024, and a second consecutive Horizon League Championship game appearance.
Volleyball season tickets will be available in the coming weeks.
The season will kick off with an exhibition match on the road at Loyola Chicago on August 16. Following, the Phoenix will open its preseason with three tournaments before the Capital Credit Union Classic in Green Bay. First, GB will travel to NC State where they'll kick off the regular season from August 29-31, then to Wisconsin on Sept. 4-5, and finally, to South Dakota from Sept. 12-14. Green Bay will play formidable competition across the three tournaments, including NC State, Army, and Kansas.
Green Bay will then host the third annual Capital Credit Union Classic, slated for Sept. 18-20. GB will welcome Tennessee Tech, Western Michigan, and Northern Iowa to the Kress Center. Green Bay's first home contest is slated for Thursday, September 18 against Western Michigan, before the team battles Tennessee Tech on the 19th and Northern Iowa on the 20th. Horizon League play will open shortly after when the team hosts Youngstown State for a two-game set on Sept. 26-27.

From then on, the Horizon League season will continue through October and the first two weeks of November, before concluding the regular season slate at Robert Morris on November 15 and 16. The Horizon League Championships will then start play on Friday, November 21 at the league's No. 1 seed.
