Jasmine Kondrakiewicz Returns as Assistant Coach / Director of Player Development

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Another familiar face is back with the Green Bay women's basketball program. Head Coach Kayla Karius announced the hiring of Jasmine Kondrakiewicz as an Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development on Tuesday afternoon.

"We are absolutely thrilled that Jas will remain in Green Bay and join our coaching staff for the upcoming season," said Karius. "She told me early on that she had a passion for coaching and a love for the game, so now she will pass on her knowledge to the next group of Phoenix players. Jas has been a fan favorite for years with her great energy on the court and on the bench, but she's also a fantastic ambassador for our program and our university in the community. All of this makes her the perfect final addition to our staff."

Kondrakiewicz played for the Phoenix for the past five years, and along with Cassie Schiltz, has appeared in the most games as a Phoenix player at 151. She was a leader on and off the court for a Green Bay Phoenix team that has won back-to-back Horizon League Championships and made consecutive NCAA Tournament Appearances. The Milwaukee, Wis. native scored over 1,000 points in her career (1,149), pulled down over 700 rebounds (705), and blocked over 100 shots (121, 5th all-time).

"I'm deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to stay in Green Bay and join the coaching staff," Kondrakiewicz added. "This place has become home and being able to continue serving a community and program that means so much to me is truly a dream come true. Go Phoenix!"

Earlier this year, Kondrakiewicz was announced as part of the 2025 class of the "So You Want To Be A Coach" program, led by the WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association), and participated in a two-day workshop in early April. Called the "So" program for short, it helps increase the application of skills necessary to secure coaching positions across women's basketball. It also connects current female basketball players to coaches and administrators and increases understanding and awareness of competencies essential for success in coaching.
