Fort Wayne, Ind. - For the second time this season Green Bay Men's Cross Country raced to a first place finish, this time at Rumble at the Fort. The Phoenix sped through the 8K course with a team score of 55, eight points ahead of Wright State. Even more impressive was the performance by junior runner Noah Jahnke who won his third race of the season. Mason Gates finished runner-up in team scoring while Ethan Onesti scored an eighth place finish. The women finished sixth out of eight with Madison Lotten as the first Phoenix to cross the finish line in 21st.

Men's Recap
The junior out of Green Bay, Noah Jahnke, has yet to lose a race this season, this time flying through the 8k course in a time of 23:54.3, 48 seconds faster than teammate Mason Gates scoring his second second-place finish of the season. Ethan Onesti was scored in eighth with a time of 25:05.7. All five scoring runners scored in the top 25 with Quinn McDonald taking 20th and Cameron Weiland placing 24th. Green Bay out paced other Horizon League rivals including, Wright State, Purdue Fort Wayne, Milwaukee and IU Indy.
Women's Recap
It was once again a youth movement for the Green Bay women as the top three runners were underclassmen. Freshman Madison Lotten led the way for the Phoenix with a 6k time of 22:32.8. Freshman Lyla Vlcek was four seconds behind her teammate finishing 23rd and sophomore Lia Peterson had a time of 22:50.1 finishing 29th. Green Bay had a team score of 138, 18 points behind fifth place IU Indy. Trine was the women's meet with a score of 37 points.

Green Bay will head back to Indiana on October 3rd for the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite.
