MADISON, Wis. – The Green Bay men's golf team wrapped up the Badger Fall Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Phoenix finished 12
th out of 14 teams, with Southern Mississippi taking the top spot shooting -23.
As a team, the Phoenix shot +30, nine shots behind Wisconsin in 11
th.
Brett Wieland was the highest Green Bay finisher, coming in at T47 place with a +6. Wieland shot even par in the event's first round.
Mason Haupt was far behind him, shooting a +8 and coming in T59, going even in round two.
Trent Meyer and
Lincoln Hottmann rounded out the Phoenix top four, finishing T62 (+9) and T68 (+11) respectively.
The Phoenix men are right back in action next weekend at the SIUE Dolenc Invitational at Gateway National Golf Course in St. Louis, starting on Sept. 29.
