ABOUT THE GOLDEN GRIZZLIES
Oakland is led by first-year head coach Keisha Newell, coming to the Golden Grizzlies after leading the Lewis University Flyers (DII) to three consecutive NCAA Division II Tournament Appearances. The other two leading scorers are Makenzie Luehring at 10.7 points per game and Angie Smith at 10.3 points per game.

ABOUT THE TITANS
The Titans are led by first-year head coach Kiefer Haffey, who was promoted to the role of head coach after serving as an assistant since 2022. Detroit Mercy has struggled in 2025-26, sitting at 4-14 and 2-7 in Horizon League play heading into their two road games against Milwaukee and Green Bay. The Titans are led by a pair of double-figure scorers, with Jasmine Edwards leading the way at 11.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, while Makayla Jackson averages 10.9 points per game.
