GREEN BAY, Wis. – Under the guidance of the Assistant AD for Academic Services,
Mike Kline, GB student-athletes have finished with a 3.3 or better GPA for the past 22 semesters. Kline, the longest-tenured member in the Green Bay Athletics department, has overseen the rise and continued academic excellence of the Green Bay student-athlete body.
The Fall 2025 GPA is the best yet for Green Bay student-athletes, with the Phoenix recording a 3.62 GPA, the best in the history of the athletic department. Green Bay student-athletes who finished with a semester GPA above 3.25 will be honored at halftime of the Phoenix Women's Basketball game on Thursday, Jan. 29.

As a whole, Phoenix student-athletes attained a semester GPA of 3.62, with eight of GB's 14 varsity programs boasting a 3.70 or higher GPA. Each of the 14 programs achieved at least a 3.25 GPA.
Over 90.7 percent of Green Bay student-athletes recorded at least a 3.0 GPA, while 36.4 percent tallied a 4.0 GPA. Women's Basketball led the way as a team with a 3.95 GPA, while Men's Golf led the men at a 3.74 GPA.
