GREEN BAY, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin- Green Bay's first-ever football game is a little over a week away. The Green Bay Blizzard, the 2025 Indoor Football Eastern Conference Champions, will don 'Frozen Phoenix' jerseys and give away a 'Frozen Phoenix' snow globe at their Saturday, April 18 home game.

The Blizzard is set to take on the Iowa Barnstormers next Saturday at the Resch Center, with kickoff slated for 4 p.m.

"UWGB invites you to 'Freeze With Us' for the Phoenix's first-ever football game on April 18^th," said Mark Murphy Endowed Director of Athletics Josh Moon. "The Blizzard have been the standard bearer of our community of amazing family fun and entertainment, and we want to emulate a lot of the things they've done to get 5,000 fans in the stands consistently. We are so thankful for their partnership."

During the game, when the Frozen Phoenix scores, it will snow inside the Resch Center. Along with the Frozen Phoenix snow globe giveaway, there will be a frozen pizza giveaway, a special game ball, special Frozen Phoenix merchandise available, and an auction for the Frozen Phoenix jerseys. The Green Bay Phoenix band and cheer squads will also be in attendance.
