GREEN BAY, Wis. - On Monday, June 1, the Green Bay soccer programs and their supporters took to the links at Wander Springs Golf Course for the Inaugural Green Bay Soccer Golf Outing. Nearly 150 people participated and raised funds for the soccer programs to continue their rise after very successful 2025 campaigns.
"When Matt and I began planning the golf outing to support both of our programs, our vision was to create an event that would unite the Green Bay soccer community," said Green Bay Men's Soccer Head Coach
John O'Reilly. "Seeing that vision successfully come to fruition was deeply gratifying. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great outing."
The event, made up of former and current student-athletes, along with Green Bay community members, Green Bay Soccer family members, and UW-Green Bay administrators, helped create a new tradition for the Green Bay soccer programs.
"The UWGB Men's and Women's Soccer Golf outing was a resounding success because of the people who made it such a wonderful day," said Green Bay Women's Soccer Head Coach
Matt Kagan. "It was so nice to blend the soccer programs, Green Bay community, and UWGB athletics together, and I am so thankful the event was well-received, and cannot wait to do it again next year!"
We'd like to extend a special thank you to Infinity Machine & Engineering, the title sponsor of the event, for their support of Green Bay Soccer. The programs would also like to thank additional significant sponsors of LEGIT Pizza, Realty Executives, and SunSeekers by Rosie for partnering on this event.
