ABOUT THE COLONIALS
Robert Morris is led by Chandler McCabe in her first season. The Colonials have won three of the last four and are 15-7 overall and 8-5 in the Horizon League. RMU is led by a pair of double-digit scorers with Aislin Malcolm at 11.9 points and Myriam Traore at 10.7 points per game. The Colonials are the best rebounding team in the Horizon League, pulling down 38.6 rebounds per game with a league-leading +6.5 rebounding margin.
ABOUT THE PENGUINS
Youngstown State has also had a good year under Melissa Jackson. The Penguins have a 16-7 record and 9-4 HL record. Casey Santoro leads the team with 12.2 points and is second on the team in 5.4 rebounds per game. Sarah Baker is the other Penguin averaging double figures, scoring 11.1 points per game.
LAST TIME OUT
Jenna Guyer and
Maddy Skorupski each recorded double-doubles to help lead the Green Bay women's basketball team past the Wright State Raiders 66-52 at home Thursday. Guyer has had double-doubles in back-to-back games and in three out of the last four.
Kamy Peppler eclipsed the 500-career assist mark in the game. The Phoenix has now won 10 straight games. The Phoenix (18-5, 13-0) had three players score in double figures, led by Guyer, who had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Meghan Schultz added 12 points, and Skorupski chipped in with a double-double, 10 points and 11 rebounds.
PROTECT HOME COURT
Green Bay has been strong at home in 2025-26, starting the year 11-0. The Phoenix is 7-3 on the road and 0-2 on a neutral court.

HORIZON LEAGUE HOT STREAK
Green Bay has won 34 straight games against Horizon League opponents, dating back to last year. The last HL loss for the Phoenix was against Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 7, 2025, when they fell to the Mastodons on the road, 67-66. The win streak is the longest against HL opponents for the Phoenix.

WELCOME BACK WESTIN!
Redshirt-Sophomore
Maren Westin rehabbed for 407 days after a season-ending knee injury last season to return to the court, and made the most of her first moments back on the floor. The Becker, Minnesota native immediately grabbed a rebound and went coast to coast for a layup within ten seconds of subbing in. Westin scored six points, three rebounds, two steals, and an assist in her nine-minute return last Thursday.
PASSING PEPPLER
Phoenix point guard
Kamy Peppler leads the Horizon League at 4.4 assists per game, while
Maddy Skorupski is in second, also at 4.2 per game. Peppler scored her 1,000th career point against Milwaukee on Jan. 17, 2026.

SCORING SKORUPSKI
Former Oakland standout and one of two Horizon League All-League players left in the league from a season ago,
Maddy Skorupski led the way for Green Bay with 19 points and five rebounds in Saturday's 72-61 win over Detroit Mercy. Skorupski is third on the team in points per game at 10.6, second in assists, averaging 4.2 (also second in the HL), and leads GB with 2.1 steals per game. Skorupski was also named the Horizon League Player of the Week on Jan. 12.
CARLEY COMING HOME
A disciple of
Kayla Karius during their time together at South Dakota, the two-time CSC Academic All-District player of Green Bay Preble High School scored her 1,000th career collegiate point in the team's victory over Youngstown State on Dec. 7. Through 21 games, Duffney is averaging 7.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Duffney has scored in double figures in eight out of GB's 23 games. She scored a season-high 17 points at Oakland on Jan. 8, and had a 12-point outing against Oakland on Jan. 22.
GUYER ON FIRE
Redshirt-Senior forward
Jenna Guyer returned to the Phoenix lineup on Nov. 22 after an injury kept her out of the first five games of the season. In 18 games since then, Guyer has scored in double figures 16 times, including 12 straight times. Guyer is first on the team, averaging 14.7 points per game, and secured her fifth double-double of the season vs. Wright State last Thursday, adding 10 rebounds to her 20 points. Guyer was named the Horizon League Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday, Jan. 19.

Kayla Karius earned her 80th career win in her fourth season as an NCAA Division I head coach with a 69-57 win against Purdue Fort Wayne on Jan. 14, 2026.

KARIUS ERA
After winning the Horizon League and making the NCAA Tournament in her first season as the Phoenix Head Coach,
Kayla Karius will look to do the same in year two with an overhauled roster. Green Bay graduated seven seniors and 85.2% of its scoring from 2024-25. The 2025-26 Phoenix features eight newcomers, consisting of six transfers and two true freshmen. After two seasons as the head coach at South Dakota and her seasons with the Phoenix, Karius holds an all-time record of 84-40.
