Adam Owens will enter his second season as the Director of Basketball Operations after being named to the position on June 29, 2022.
Owens served as the Director of Player Development at Eastern Carolina before coming to Titletown. Prior to his time at ECU, he served as a graduate assistant at the University of Missouri – Kansas City during the 2019-20 campaign. In his only year in KC, he aided in one of the biggest turnarounds in Division I, as the Roos went 16-14 in a season cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic, after going 11-21 the previous season.
While a student at Butler, he was as a student manager for the men’s basketball team, taking part in three NCAA Tournaments. In the summer of 2018, he was tasked with being a basketball coach at IMG Academy, where he assisted in daily practice planning and individual skill development.
