2017-18 Season (Sophomore)
• Started in 24 games, while appearing in all 33 of his team’s games played; finished third on the team in scoring with 10.7 PPG and was second on the team with 127 made field goals
• Scored a career-high 36 points in a win over Detroit Mercy in the First Round of Motor City Madness; poured in career-high seven 3s and went 12-for-17 from the field
• Started in final six games of the season, scoring in double-figures in six of his final seven games played
• Dished out career-high nine assists at UIC and scored seven points
• Reached double-figure scoring in 21 of 33 games
• Played a career-high 40 minutes against Milwaukee and scored 24 points on four made 3s
2016-17 Season (Freshman)
• Appeared in 24 games as a true freshman and shot 50 percent (30-for-60) from the field
• Scored first career points against Northland on Nov. 12, 2016; finished with five points
• Scored career-high 13 points against Detroit Mercy (Feb. 2, 2017), going 4-for-6 from the field and 4-for-5 from the free throw line
• Played career-high 21 minutes in Horizon League Tournament game against UIC
High School Accomplishments
· Averaged 9 points, 4 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and shot 53 percent from three-point range as a junior
· Helped lead Novi to a second-place finish in the Kensington Conference his junior season
· Named All-Conference as a junior
Kam Hankerson: “The process was exciting and difficult together. He (Darner) trusted me enough as a player and individual to offer me a scholarship right off the bat. Once I made my decision it was a huge relief and I am looking forward to the opportunity to play at Green Bay.”
Linc Darner: We're very excited Kameron has decided to join our program. He's going to be a very versatile player for us, as he brings in great size at the guard position. He's going to continue to improve his skill set as a player and we look forward to watching him grow.
His upside has him just scratching the surface of the type of player he can be. We expect big things from his high school team this year and he will be a huge part of their success. Kam will only get better and we are excited for his potential and future.
Randall Herbst: I knew once we watched him play in Milwaukee that he was someone we needed to have on our radar. Kam will bring in great size and great length and a level of versatility.
