GREEN BAY CAREER


  • Has played in all 96 games, starting 61 games, in three seasons for the Phoenix

  • Is just 192 points shy of becoming the 22nd member of the school's 1,000-point scoring club

2008-09 Season

  • Averaged 12.6 points per game, shooting 44 percent from the field and 43 percent from 3-point territory

  • Ranked ninth in the Horizon League in scoring and third in 3-point percentage

  • Connected on an impressive 89 3-pointers, the second-highest single season total in school history and highest total ever by a Phoenix junior

  • His 89 3-pointers were more than the entire Phoenix team made (70) in 1986-87, the first year of the college 3-point line

  • Shot 87.5 percent from the free throw line (56-for-64), good for second on the team

  • Reached double figures in scoring on 20 occasions, including six games with 20 points or more

  • Registered back-to-back career-high 25-point performances against UIC (Jan. 28) and Loyola (Jan. 31)

  • In addition to 25 points against UIC, also had seven rebounds, a career-high four assists and three steals

  • Pulled down a career-best nine rebounds Nov. 11 against Rollins, a game in which he also scored 20 points

  • Played a career-high 39 minutes in an overtime loss to Oakland Dec. 18

  • Went 8-of-9 from the free throw line, scoring 19 total points, in Green Bay's win over No. 11 Butler Feb. 2

2007-08 Season

  • Played in every game for the Phoenix, starting six times

  • Averaged 15.7 minutes per contest and scored 4.6 points per game

  • Played a season-high 27 minutes against Ohio State, scoring six points and dishing out three assists against the Buckeyes

  • Scored a season-high 15 points in a key Horizon League game against UIC Feb. 28

  • Connected on 3-of-4 attempts from beyond the arc against the Flames

  • Had a 10-point outing against Youngstown State Feb. 20

  • Averaged 8.8 points per game over a four-game stretch in February

  • Played double-figure minutes in all but two games

2006-07 Season

  • Appeared in all 33 games for the Phoenix, earning 22 starts

  • Became the first freshman in school history to play in at least 33 games in a season

  • Ranked second in the Horizon League with a .462 3-point percentage

  • Had nine double-figure scoring efforts on the year

  • Netted five games with at least 10 points in a seven-game stretch in the non-conference slate, and averaged 11.6 points per game over that span

  • Drained a season-high five 3-pointers and scored 19 points in a league tourney win over Cleveland State Feb. 27

  • Named Horizon League Player of the Week Jan. 29 after coming off the bench to score 23 points on 6-of-6 shooting from the field and 8-of-9 from the free throw line at Milwaukee Jan. 27

  • Had 16 points earlier in the week vs. UIC (Jan. 24)

  • Grabbed a season-high six rebounds to go along with 10 points vs. Bowling Green Dec. 30

  • Had 14 of his 19 points in the first half and also snared four steals against Central Michigan on Dec. 9

  • Tallied 15 points in first career start at Eastern Illinois Nov. 21

  • Came off the bench to score 13 points in a win over Northern Michigan Nov. 17 


HIGH SCHOOL CAREER


  • Second-team all-state selection by both the Associated Press and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel/Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) as a senior

  • Was a first-team All-City Conference selection each of his final two years, and was the conference Player of the Year his final season

  • Tabbed as a first-team all-area pick by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel his senior year

  • Helped guide King to back-to-back Division I state championships as a freshman and sophomore

  • Named to all-state tournament team as a sophomore

  • Competed for the South squad at the WBCA Division 1 All-Star Game

  • High school coach was Jim Gosz
