Kyle Ihn will begin his second season on the sidelines as an assistant coach for the Green Bay men's soccer program in 2025. He joined Green Bay's staff in the summer of 2024. He is likely a familiar name to fans, as he graduated from UW-Green Bay in 2017 and was a goalkeeper for the program from 2013-16.
Ihn spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons with Albion College in Michigan, about an hour west of Ann Arbor and an hour and a half west of Detroit. He helped guide the Britons to an 18-14-4 record from 2022-2023, which included an MIAA Quarterfinal win this past season. Before his time at Albion, Ihn was an assistant men's soccer/goalkeeper coach at Southwestern Christian University.
As Green Bay's goalkeeper for four years, Ihn posted five shutouts in 2015 and 2016, combining for 145 saves in that span. He had a career-best 1.18 GAA in 2015, surrendering just 11 goals in nine contests.
After graduating from UWGB with a double major in Business Administration and Psychology, Ihn played professionally in the USL Championship for Energy FC (OK) and Reno 1868 FC (NV), in addition to stints with the Des Moines Menace (IA), Lansing Ignite (MI) and Kokomo Mantis (IN). He achieved his USSF C License in 2025.
