Finished sophomore season with a 7-10 overall record at No. 2 singles…. Recorded a win against Gacoustian of DePaul (7-6, 6-3) on January 20…. Picked up a win against Muzar of Northern Illinois (6-3, 6-2) on February 3…. Defeated Martinez of Chicago State (6-1, 6-4) and played doubles with McDowall to beat Gonzalez and Martinez (6-2) on February 4 to help pick up the first overall team victory of the season…. Recorded a win without dropping a single game against Engelhart of UW-Whitewater (6-0, 6-0) and paired up with McDowall to defeat Thompson and Engelhart (6-1) on February 24…. Teamed up with McDowall to win at No. 1 doubles against Cellupica-Towers and Brezing of Wright State (6-3) on March 25…. Defeated Wasilewicz of UIC (7-6, 6-4) on April 14…. Recorded a win against Buffington of Cleveland State (6-3, 6-2) and paired up with Schramm to beat Buffington and Goth (7-6) on April 23…. Teamed up with Schramm to down Buffington and Goth of Cleveland State (6-2) in the first round of the Horizon League Championship on April 28

Finished freshman season with a 6-1 overall record, playing mostly at No. 6 singles spot (5-1) and going 3-0 in Horizon League play
