Since Vogel joined the staff in 2013-14, she has helped lead the program to a remarkable 237-74 (.762) and 149-29 (.837) Horizon League record, six Horizon League Regular Season Championships, four Horizon League Tournament Championships, and seven postseason berths, including four NCAA Tournament appearances. Vogel was also a key part in recruiting a Blue Star Basketball Top 50 nationally-ranked class in 2014.Â
Vogel has also recruited and developed 29 Horizon Leauge All-Conference Team selections, as well as one Player of the Year, three Defensive Players of the Year, two Freshman of the Year, and the 27th overall pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft.
Before coming to Titletown, Vogel served as an assistant coach at St. Cloud State University from 2010 to 2013, as well as head strength and conditioning coach, director of player development, academic coordinator, and community service coordinator.
The Saint Peter, MN native was a standout player at South Dakota State University, where she started all 120 contests during her four-year career. She finished second all-time on the program’s scoring list with 1,850 career points. In addition, she notched 194 career 3-point field goals and 783 career rebounds, good for the third- and fifth-best marks in program history.
