Alex Zeller was added to the Green Bay Phoenix women's soccer staff in the fall of 2018. She assists the head coach in all aspects, including organizing and managing away games, traveling, gear, and itineraries, as well as during training, games, and warmups.
Currently, Zeller also is the head coach for junior varsity soccer at Green Bay East High School and the U8 and U9 girls soccer teams with the club De Pere Select.
Prior to joining the Phoenix, she worked as a weight room attendant at the Kress Center from 2016-18. In the spring of 2018, she also interned with the Green Bay Athletics Strength and Conditioning staff and with Fitness Integrity in De Pere in 2018. Zeller also spent her undergraduate years as an assistant coach with the Notre Dame Academy varsity girls soccer team for two seasons in 2016 and 2017.
A native of Dundee, Illinois, Zeller graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in the spring of 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science. She double majored in Human Biology with an emphasis in Exercise Science and Spanish & Latin American Studies. She also obtained her coaching certification.
During her time studying at UW - Green Bay, Zeller was a member of the DI women's soccer team herself, where she was the captain of her team as a senior. She earned multiple honors as a student-athlete, including accepting the Green Bay Sportsmanship award in 2018, being given Horizon League Second All-Team honors in 2017, and being nominated to the Horizon League All-Freshman team in 2014.
