Green Bay women's soccer head coach Matt Kagan announced the hiring of Carly McCrumb as the Graduate Assistant for women's soccer on July 2, 2025. McCrumb, a Grandville, Mich., native comes to Green Bay after an illustrious goalkeeping career at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
"I am so excited to add Carly to our staff here at UWGB," said Kagan, "Carly is a wonderful person who has had a very successful playing career which will help immensely as she transitions into her coaching role here. She will be tasked with coaching our young goalkeeping group and I'm excited to see their growth under her tutelage."
McCrumb finished her career at Johnson & Wales second in wins (40), shutouts (16), goals against average (GAA) (0.78), and minutes played (5075:25). She also finished seventh in save pct. (.746), and eighth in saves (128). She was a three-time member of the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, as well as earning All-League Second and Third Team honors, and a USCA All-Region 1 Second Team honor.
"I chose to join Green Bay Women's Soccer because of its incredible athletic and academic fit.," McCrumb added. "The chance to contribute to the growth and success of this program while continuing my education is an opportunity, I'm extremely excited about and grateful to be part of!"
Along with her playing experience, McCrumb has coached at Camp Shutout, and Clark Keeper Training, as well as offering 1-on-1 private goalkeeper sessions.
