McKee has extensive experience in soccer. She spent four years on the girls soccer team at Oregon High School in southeastern Wisconsin. Her collegiate career was spent in DeLand, Florida, at Stetson University. In 2019, she assisted in creating drills for youth players at the Stetson Football Association. Back home in Wisconsin, she was a youth coach at the Oregon Youth Soccer Association.

Her role with the Phoenix will include organizing drills, travel, and team projects, in addition to assisting the coaching staff.
