Brandon Schlotthauer is going into his eighth year working with the Green Bay Phoenix, and his third as Director of Strength and Conditioning. He currently coaches women's basketball, volleyball, softball, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf, and men's and women's Nordic skiing.
Schlotthauer is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. Along with the sports he currently coaches, he also has experience working with track & field and football.
Prior to being promoted to Director of Strength and Conditioning, Schlotthauer spent his time at Green Bay as Interim Head Strength and Conditioning Coach from late 2015 to early 2016 after working as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for four years. During his interim period, he was awarded the Green Bay Athletics Support Staff Member of the Year. Schlotthauer also earned the award after his first season as Director of Strength and Conditioning.
During his early years with the Green Bay staff, he worked as a volunteer assistant track coach at St. Norbert College for four years, from 2010-2014, and was the head strength and conditioning coach at Green Bay Preble High School for the 2011 academic year.
Before joining the Phoenix, Schlotthauer specialized as a Performance Enhancement Specialist with Bellin Health from 2007-2011. Prior to volunteering as an assistant track coach with the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse from 2005-2007.
Schlotthauer received his Master's in Sport Administration from the University of Wisconsin - La Cross in 2006. He also obtained his bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science - Fitness from La Crosse in 2005. While attending the university, he was a member of the men's track team.
A native of Pine Island, Minnesota, Schlotthauer married the former Casey Moreau in March 2016. They have three dogs: Luckee, Brew, and Frankie.
