Dylan Derousseau enters his fifth year as the Assisant Athletic Director for Communications after starting in October 2021. Derousseau oversees the department’s media relations for each of Green Bay’s 14 varsity sport programs as well as the content and maintenance of GreenBayPhoenix.com – the primary source of information on all Phoenix Athletics.
Derousseau came to Green Bay following a short stint at Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, Calif., where he served as the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications. With FPU, he was responsible for the communications and media efforts for men’s and women’s soccer, water polo, swimming & diving, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, and baseball.
Prior to his time at FPU, Derousseau spent two years at UW-Parkside as the Rangers’ Graduate Assistant for Athletics Communications. While in Kenosha, he was the primary contact for men’s and women’s soccer, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s track & field, and baseball.
The Tomah, Wis., native graduated from Parkside in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management. Upon graduation, Derousseau received the Traditions of Excellence Academic Achievement Award from the Parkside HKSM department. He also earned his Master’s in Sports Management from Parkside in 2021.
