Jay Finnerty was hired as Green Bay's Senior Associate AD for Resource Enhancement in July 2022.
Finnerty comes to Green Bay from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, where he was hired in October 2013 as Assistant Athletic Director of Revenue and Special and then was promoted to Associate AD for Revenue and Special Projects in August of 2017. During that time, he provided oversight for the department's ticketing, marketing, business, human resources, and finance offices. Finnerty was also the sport administrator for UMD men's and women's cross country, softball, and men's and women's track and field. Prior to his time in Duluth, Finnerty was on the staff at DePaul University from September 2005 until October 2013 where he served as Director of Ticket Sales and Operations in his final six years.
Finnerty is no stranger to the Fox Valley, having worked with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers from 2000-2002 as the Corporate Sales Manager and Ticket Sales Manager. Finnerty also worked as a Sales Representative for General Beer Northeast in Little Chute, Wis.
The Milwaukee native graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 1996 with a B.S. degree in Management. He was also a member of the CSS baseball team, earning four letters with the Saints.
