Maureen Lewis will begin her first season as the Diving Coach of the Green Bay swimming and diving program in 2024-25. Maureen, who is not related to Alex, started her career young, boasting as a champion while in the AAU from ages 10-18. She began at the YMCA before eventually joining UWGB, where she was coached by the program's first-ever head coach, Roger Harriman. Maureen also trained under Hobie Billingsley, a former Olympic coach who guided Indiana University to 115 national diving titles and six NCAA championships.
She attended the University of Minnesota, where she was a finalist in the Big 10 Championships and an NCAA qualifier. Maureen graduated from UM in 1989 with a bachelor's in communication. She has entrenched herself in the Green Bay community, currently serving as a substitute teacher in the Green Bay and De Pere school districts.
