Ryan Immel is going into his third year working with the Green Bay Phoenix after joining the staff in 2016. He currently coaches men's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's swimming and diving.
Immel is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Along with the sports that he currently coaches, he also has experience with football and volleyball.
Prior to Green Bay, Immel spent three years at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, where he began as a Strength and Conditioning intern in 2013, then became a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2014, and was eventually hired as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2015.
Immel obtained his Master's in Human Performance with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in 2016. He also attended La Crosse as an undergraduate and received a Bachelor's in Biomedical Science in 2012. While attending the university, he was a member of the football team.
A native of Lomira, Wisconsin, Immel enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in sports such as golf, snowboarding, and wakeboarding.
