------
Mike Kline is going into his 36th year in the 2023-24 season as the Head Coach of Green Bay men's and women's cross country teams. Kline landed the Green Bay coaching position in 1987 while he was still a cross country student-athlete at UWGB.

In 1999, Kline was named academic coordinator for the Green Bay athletics program. Prior to the 2014-15 academic year, he was given the title of Assistant AD of Compliance, Student Welfare, and Student Services. In this role, Kline is responsible for conducting grade checks and supervising study tables. Under his direction, student-athlete grades have consistently been on the rise. Under Kline's guidance, Green Bay student-athletes have collectively posted a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better for 46 consecutive semesters.

Kline's 2006 men's and women's teams were both honored by their respective coach's associations for their efforts in the classroom, as both teams posted cumulative GPAs over 3.30.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his children, Zac and Lexie, and run.
