Green Bay Keeps Rolling with Another Road Win

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -    The Green Bay (4-0-1) men's soccer team continued their winning ways on the road picking up another shutout with a 2-0 win over Robert Morris (0-5-0).

The Phoenix opened up the scoring in the 14th minute when Lucas Kemmesies (Berlin, Germany) played a ball from the right midfield toward the left corner of the box. The ball bounced over the Colonial defense to Tony Patterson (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) who chipped it in for his first goal of the season.

Green Bay outshot the Colonials 7-2 and had four cornerkicks while Robert Morris had none in the first period of action.

With just eight minutes left to play JC Banks (Milwaukee, Wis.) unleashed a shot from 25 yards out. The shot was stopped and bounced back out into the box where Ilya Ksenidi (West Allis, Wis.) headed the ball into the net. The goal was Ksenidi's first of the season and sealed the 2-0 win for Green Bay.

The Phoenix finished the contest outshooting Robert Morris 18-5 and 10-0 on cornerkicks.

Green Bay will wrap up their five game road trip at San Diego State on Sept. 18.
