GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The first edition of Match Point with Debbie Kirch debuted Monday on GreenBayPhoenix.com. Andrew Gavin sat down with head volleyball coach Debbie Kirch to look back on the team's intrasquad scrimmage this past weekend and look ahead to opening the season at the Hawkeye Challenge Friday.

Kirch discusses the team's roster makeup, which includes senior setter and co-captain Whitney Schott (Roscoe, Ill.) and seven freshmen getting their first taste of college volleyball. The Phoenix opens the season Friday at 4:30 p.m. against Southern Illinois before playing Alabama Saturday and the host Hawkeyes on Sunday.
