GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Phoenix Flix gives fans the opportunity to learn more about Green Bay's 7-foot-1 freshman center Alec Brown (Winona, Minn.) in the most recent installment of Flying with the Phoenix presented by Frontier Airlines.
The video debuted as a feature on Inside Phoenix Basketball presented by Miller Lite, a weekly coaches show dedicated to Green Bay men's and women's basketball. The show is held Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at The Bar on Holmgren Way and is aired live on GreenBayPhoenix.com.
The newcomer has started all 17 games this season for the Phoenix, averaging 8.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest. Brown has made his presence known on the defensive end of the floor, recording a Green Bay freshman record 37 blocks just halfway through his rookie campaign.
Brown and the Phoenix are back in action tonight at 7 p.m. as they play the third contest of a four-game homestand aganst Loyola at the Resch Center. Green Bay is looking for its fourth consecutive home victory.
