GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - On Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m., the Green Bay men's basketball team will look to get a road victory at Youngstown State and gain momentum heading into a three-game homestand. The Phoenix will be facing a Penguin team fresh off a 68-66 victory over league-leading Milwaukee on Friday night.

Green Bay put four players in double figures on Friday night, including a career-high 15 points from sophomore Kam Cerroni (Sussex, Wis.), but the Phoenix could not rally past Cleveland State in a 78-68 defeat. Freshman Keifer Sykes (Chicago, Ill.), who has averaged 15.7 points per game since turning 18 on Dec. 30, added 15 points for the Phoenix.

Sophomore Alec Brown (Winona, Minn.) reached double figures for the 13th time this season, tallying 10 points against Cleveland State. The 7-foot-1 center added four blocks and is on the verge of breaking his own single-season record (needs 9 blocks) and the Green Bay career record (needs 7 blocks). He will match up with the Horizon League leader in blocked shots, Damian Eargle, on Sunday.

Green Bay will try to stop the momentum of a Youngstown State team riding high after the win over the Panthers. Junior guard Blake Allen knocked down 7-of-8 three-point attempts and scored 27 points on Friday night in the win over Milwaukee.

The game will also be broadcast live on WDUZ The Fan with the pregame show beginning at 12:45 p.m. Matt Menzl and Andrew Gavin will be on the call for the radio broadcast. To listen live online, click here.

• INSIDE THE SERIES: Green Bay has a 23-6 advantage all-time against the Penguins, including five-straight victories. The Phoenix have a 6-5 edge in 11 meetings in Youngstown after a 71-60 victory at the Beeghly Center on Feb. 24 of last season.

• MATCHUP TO WATCH: Sykes has played against some of the best senior point guards in the Horizon League this season, including CSU's Jeremy Montgomery on Friday night. Against YSU, Sykes will battle with one of the most talented underclassmen point guards in the league in Kendrick Perry. The sophomore Penguin guard leads the team in scoring at 14.3 points per game.

• PENGUINS PLAYER TO WATCH: Junior Damian Eargle is one of the top shot blockers in the country with an average of 4.2 blocks per contest. Eargle has 40 blocks in Horizon League play, one more than Brown, who has 39 in eight conference games.

• CAN I SEE SOME ID: Sykes, who turned 18 on Dec. 30, has been on a tear since becoming able to legally vote. One of the youngest players in the country, Sykes has scored in double figures in five-straight games as an 18-year old. In league play, Sykes is tenth in the conference in field goal percentage (54.0) and is tied for 17th in scoring (11.6 ppg). The Chicago native has scored 15 or more points in four of the past five games.

• BLOCK PARTY: Brown's 11 blocks against Wright State set a number of records and were also a first for any player in Division I this season. The 11 swats, including seven after halftime, broke his own school record as well as the Resch Center and Horizon League records for blocks in a game. Brown raised his blocks per game average to 3.3 with four more against Cleveland State and now ranks second in the Horizon League and eighth in the country.

• RECORD SWATS:  Brown's recent shot-blocking success has him on the verge of breaking two more records, including one that he already owns. Now with 126 career blocks, Brown needs just seven more blocks to surpass Terry Evans (2005-09) as the program's all-time leader. With nine more blocks, Brown will break the single-season record he set with 67 blocks as a freshman.

• HALF CENTURY: Friday's game at CSU was Brown's 50th career game and his 50th career start. In his 50-game Green Bay career, Brown has compiled 568 points, 319 rebounds and 122 blocks.
