GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's basketball team bid farewell to its largest senior class in program history following the 2012-13 season, but will welcome a class of award-winning freshman for the 2013-14 campaign. In head coach Kevin Borseth's first recruiting class, the Phoenix will have three incoming freshmen in guard Tesha Buck (Red Wing, Minn.), guard-forward Sam Terry (Baraboo, Wis.) and 6-foot-3 post presence Lexi Weitzer (Waukesha, Wis.).
The three standouts scored a combined 4,457 points during their prep careers while boasting a cumulative average of 18.2 points per game during their senior seasons. Each player was also featured on their respective state's basketball coaches association All-Star team.
Tesha Buck, G, 5-11, Red Wing, Minn. (Red Wing)

- Ranked No. 75 in the 2013 class by Blue Star Basketball
- 2013 Second Team All-State
- 2013 Red Wing Republican Eagle's All-Area Player of the Year
- Selected to the 2013 Class AAA All-Tournament Team
- 2013 MGBCA AAA All-Star Team selection
- 2,402 career points (school record)
- Three state tournament appearances
- Averaged 23.4 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.8 steals per game as a senior
Sam Terry, G/F, 6-0, Baraboo, Wis. (Baraboo)
- 2013 Wisconsin Miss Basketball
- 2013 WBCA Division 2 All-State selection (unanimous)
- 2013 Associated Press First Team All-State selection
- 2013 Wisconsin State Journal All-Area Girls Basketball Player of the Year
- Four-time Badger North Conference First Team selection
- 2013 WBCA All-Star Team member
- 1,376 career points
- Led her team to a 21-4 record, a Badger North Conference Championship and a sectional semifinal berth in 2013
- Averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three assists per game as a senior
Lexi Weitzer, C, 6-3, Waukesha, Wis. (Waukesha South)
- Three-star recruit, ranked 43rd among all 2013 post players by ESPN.com
- Ranked in the top 200 of all 2013 players by Blue Star Basketball
- 2013 WBCA All-State Honorable Mention
- 2013 Associated Press All-State Honorable Mention
- 2013 WBCA All-Star Team member
- Waukesha Freeman's All-County First Team and Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel All-Area Honorable Mention in 2013
- 2013 First Team All-Classic 8
- Holds school rebounding records for single game (21), season (211) and career (630)
The three incoming freshman will give the Phoenix a six-member freshman class alongside 2012-13 redshirts Hannah Eichler (Grafton, Wis.), Mehryn Kraker (West Allis, Wis.) and Mariah Monke (Fergus Falls, Minn.). The group will be the second-largest in program history after the 2012-13 roster featured seven freshmen.
