GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Failing to find the back of the net for the second straight game, the Green Bay men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Wisconsin on Tuesday night in nonconference play at the McClimon Complex in Madison.
The Badgers (2-7-1) scored the only goal of the game in the 22nd minute when Mark Segbergs dribbled up the field through the Green Bay defense before finding Tom Barlow for the would-be game winner.
Green Bay (3-5-3) did put three shots on goal, which all came in the first half. Wisconsin held the edge on corner kicks by a final total of 7-3.
The match was the second to last nonconference game of the season for Green Bay. The team will also travel to Eastern Illinois on Oct. 21.
Green Bay will look to get back on track when it visits Detroit this Saturday (Oct. 11) in its return to Horizon League play.
