ROCHESTER, Mich. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Nicole Piette collected an early lead for Green Bay on Saturday night in Rochester, Mich., against Oakland, finding the back of the Golden Grizzlies' net in the 27th minute. Green Bay's lead, however, would not stand for the remainder of the match, as Oakland rallied with two goals in the second half to defeat Green Bay 2-1.
Goalkeeper Courtney Klatt had a strong showing in the Phoenix net despite allowing a pair of goals, as the freshman keeper tallied eight saves.
Green Bay recorded four shots on goal and three corner kicks in the matchup. The Phoenix will now focus on its matchup with in-state rival Milwaukee on Wednesday.
