CLEVELAND, Ohio (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's soccer team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio for a matchup with Cleveland State on Saturday afternoon. The Phoenix fell behind in the first half after surrendering a goal to the Vikings' Toni Dickson in the 45th minute of play.
Green Bay rallied in the second half starting with a goal from Alex Zeller, who buried a rebound shot into the net to knot things at 1-1. The Phoenix continued to press and found the game-winning goal minutes later from the foot of Nicole Piette in the 68th minute.
The Phoenix will now focus on its season finale with Youngstown State on Friday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
