GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's soccer team saw its first action of the season away from Aldo Santaga Stadium this afternoon, taking the pitch in Normal, Ill., against Illinois State. The Redbirds' strong offensive attack proved to be too much for the Phoenix, as Illinois State owned a 28-6 advantage in shots and a 10-4 advantage in shots on goal. Kelly Kent recorded eight saves in the contest and all of the Phoenix shots on goal came from different members of the squad.
