This is the 19th meeting between Youngstown State and Green Bay in a series that dates back to 1998. The Phoenix has dominated the series to date, holding a 13-3-2 advantage over the Penguins. The two teams tied, 2-2, last season, with the three years prior ending in Phoenix victories. The last YSU win was a 1-0 victory in 2013.
