ABOUT DETROIT
The Titans are ranked No. 9 in the most recent Great Lakes regional rankings. They've been included in the rankings for three-straight weeks. With its most recent victory over Fort Wayne, Detroit Mercy is off to the program's best start since 2002 at 4-0-1.
BRINGING THE CUP BACK
The Green Bay (2-0-2) men's soccer team traveled south to Milwaukee this past weekend to open league play and compete with the Panthers for the annual Chancellor's Cup. The Phoenix defeated Milwaukee, 2-1, led by the efforts of Audi Jepson who scored two goals on Saturday night to seal the victory. Jepson was named the Horizon League's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
