GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Fresh off a four-goal outing against Chicago State, the Green Bay women's soccer team looks to build a winning streak as it welcomes Oakland to Aldo Santaga Stadium on Friday night to open Horizon League play.

A dominant effort on both sides of the field secured a 4-1 Phoenix victory over visiting Chicago State on last week. Green Bay received four goals from its offense, its highest mark since the 2015 season when the squad found the back of the net seven times against Chicago State.
The Phoenix attacked from all angles in the matchup with the Cougars as four different members of the squad registered a goal in the match. Green Bay recorded 26 shots on the afternoon and place 13 of them on goal, while the defense held Chicago State to just six shots.
Alex Zeller was named Green Bay's student-athlete of the week for her efforts in the victory.
