GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's soccer team takes returns to its Horizon League slate this weekend when it welcomes Oakland on Saturday night at 7 p.m. for alumni night. The Golden Grizzlies were picked as the preseason favorites to claim the Horizon League crown.

Green Bay (4-2-2, 3-0-0) sits atop the Horizon League standings after a 2-1 win at Wright State this past Saturday. The Phoenix found itself down early, but goals from
Audi Jepson and
Brady Lenius secured the double-overtime victory at Alumni Field. Jepson continues to lead Green Bay's offensive attack with six goals, while
Tomer Zloczower has had a large part in directing the offense with five assists.
The Green Bay men's soccer team entered the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Great Lakes regional rankings at No. 9 this week after securing its third win in Horizon League play.
Oakland enters the weekend's matchup with its most recent contest being its biggest victory of the season, defeating No. 20 Michigan, 2-1. The Golden Grizzlies are 3-7 on the season combined with a 1-2 mark in Horizon League play.
The match is Green Bay's Alumni Night and the program will welcome back players from years past with those in attendance being honored on the field at halftime.
