GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Green Bay men's soccer will begin the month of October by playing the Titans in Detroit on Saturday, October 6 at 12 p.m.
The men's team will look to return to its winning ways in the pairing, entering at 2-2 in conference play. Detroit is 0-4 in Horizon League play, having recently lost to Wright State. Green Bay is currently on a two-game losing streak but has been able to take positives out of the recent setbacks.
Most recently, Green Bay surrendered the Chancellor's Cup to in-state rival Milwaukee after a 1-0 loss on the road in overtime. The Phoenix battled the entire match but was unable to capitalize on its opportunities and ultimately fell to the Panthers. GB currently ranks fourth in the league with six points, behind Wright State (nine points), UIC (nine points) and Milwaukee (seven points).
Fans looking for a good game of fall soccer can watch Saturday's game on ESPN 3.
