CHENEY, Wash. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- JayQuan McCloud (21 points), ShanQuan Hemphill (19 points) and Cody Schwartz (18 points) each poured in their own career-high to help lead Green Bay get past Eastern Washington on the road on Friday night, coming away with the 82-78 overtime victory in the Subregional Round of the 2K Empire Classic on Reese Court. 
 
Green Bay (2-2) used a tip-in by McCloud with 8 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 66-66, getting in the right position to rebound the Sandy Cohen III missed runner. Eastern Washington (0-3) then missed an open look at a 3 at the other end, forcing the game to OT. After EWU hit a 3 to open OT, GB used an 8-0 run to go up five and take the lead for good. The Phoenix was able to ice the game away enough at the free throw line to get the road victory, advancing to the Championship Game of the subregional round.

Morehead State, who downed UMKC 98-88 earlier on Friday, awaits Green Bay in the Championship on Saturday. Tip is set for 3 p.m. CT / 1 p.m. local pacific time. There will be no live video coverage, but fans can listen to the game live on The Fan 1400 AM over the air or online.
