GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay women's basketball team secured its third-consecutive win over Dayton on Saturday afternoon, locking down the Flyers (2-3) en route to a 51-35 victory.
Frankie Wurtz extended her streak of scoring in double digits to four games, adding 10 points to Green Bay's total and coming away with five rebounds. The redshirt junior also swiped four steals and doled out one assist in 34 minutes.
The stifling Phoenix defense held Dayton to single digits in three of the four quarters on Saturday, with its lowest total coming in the third quarter at five points. The Flyers never held an advantage in the pairing as GB went on to secure a 51-35 victory and improve to 3-2 on the season.
