GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay women's basketball team took the floor against in-state rival No. 19/16 Marquette at the Al McGuire Center on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Golden Eagles 80-54.
Frankie Wurtz led the Phoenix in scoring with 12 points on a 5-of-11 clip in the matchup. The redshirt junior connected twice from downtown and gathered six rebounds in 30 minutes.
Anna Brecht was the only other double-digit scorer for GB, adding 10 points while going 2-of-4 from long range.
Green Bay will take the court against UW-Parkside within the friendly confines of the Kress Center on Tuesday night, welcoming the Rangers for a 7 p.m. tip.
