GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Head coach Kevin Borseth has been named the WBCA DI and DII Women's Basketball Coach of the Year after a successful campaign in the 2017-18 season. Borseth, who led the Phoenix to a 29-4 overall record and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament, has now won the award in three of the past four seasons.

Borseth's Phoenix squad went 16-2 in league contests and clinched its 20th-consecutive Horizon League championship this past season. The team also claimed the crown in the Horizon League tournament after defeating Wright State, 62-44.

The award is given annually to only a single coach in Wisconsin that is considered to have exceeded expectations and led their program to new heights.
