GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay Athletics Department, and its athletics multimedia rightsholder, Learfield, announced today a new flagship radio partner for the Phoenix in Cumulus-Green Bay through the 2020-21 athletic season. Starting this season in 2018-19, all GB men's and women's basketball games will air live on either WDUZ 107.5 FM and/or 1400 AM The Fan.

"We are ecstatic to enter this important partnership with Cumulus Media and WDUZ The Fan," said Green Bay Director of Athletics, Charles Guthrie. "The promotional opportunities for the University, our athletic department and student athletes is tremendous. We are eager to provide Phoenix fans and casual listeners in Green Bay, Brown County and the Fox Valley an NCAA Division I basketball experience. This is just the start of what we hope is a longstanding alliance that will expand our brand."

Sports Radio 107.5 and 1400 The Fan will now be the official radio home for both Green Bay basketball programs, which will increase the program's brand throughout the Northeast Wisconsin region and beyond. The Fan will now brand itself as the "Home of the Green Bay Phoenix" and will air a variety of live and recorded spots to support both programs, with airwave reach from Marinette to Sheboygan and as far as west as Waupaca and south as Fond du Lac.

"Cumulus Broadcasting - Green Bay along with our station WDUZ (The Fan 107.5 and 1400) is extremely excited to join forces with UWGB and the men's and women's basketball teams. The women have a longstanding tradition of conference dominance and the men are heading into their 50th season. We have always had an admiration for the program and are thrilled to be the broadcast partner of The Phoenix," said Don Pollnow, VP/Marketing Manger, Cumulus-Green Bay.

The men's basketball team recently announced its full 2018-19 schedule, which includes 31 regular season games before entering the Horizon League Tournament. The women's basketball team will be announcing its schedule on Thursday, September 13.

Brian Kuklinski will enter his third season as the voice of the men's basketball team, while Matt Pauley will be calling his second season of GB women's basketball.

Additionally, the Green Bay Distillery will once again host Green Bay Basketball Coaches Shows throughout the season. Head coaches Linc Darner and Kevin Borseth will appear on the show each week, along with players from both teams and other special guests. There will be giveaways for all fans in attendance along with food and drink specials at the Distillery.
