GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's soccer team will take a break from conference action tomorrow evening, welcoming Western Michigan to Aldo Santaga Stadium for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
The Broncos enter the matchup at 4-4, having started out just 1-4 before piecing together a three-game winning streak. The Phoenix was unbeaten through its first five games of the season but suffered a setback in its most recent league outing against Northern Kentucky, falling 2-1 after a late goal from the Norse.
Wednesday's match marks the 26th all-time match between the programs, with the Phoenix owning a 21-4-2 advantage in the series. The Broncos have prevailed in the last two matchups, including a 3-0 victory last season at WMU Soccer Complex.
Following its matchup with Broncos, the Phoenix will return to its Horizon League slate by welcoming IUPUI to Aldo Santaga Stadium on Saturday at 7 p.m.
