GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's soccer team returns to the pitch on Saturday night when the team welcomes IUPUI for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Aldo Santaga Stadium.
Green Bay's most recent outing saw the Phoenix take a break from conference play for a matchup with Western Michigan. The Broncos found the back of the net late to escape with the victory and secure their fourth-straight win. The loss marked the first time GB has lost back-to-back games since the 2016 season.
IUPUI enters the weekend at 1-4-2 but matches Green Bay's record in league play at 1-1-0. The Jaguars defeated Detroit Mercy 1-0 to open conference action before falling to UIC on the road, 4-0.
The Phoenix enters Saturday's contest at 4-2-1 but recently fell to 1-1 in Horizon League play after Northern Kentucky scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute of action to defeat GB 2-1 this past Saturday.
Following the matchup with IUPUI, the Green Bay men's soccer team will enjoy its fourth-straight home game on Tuesday, Sept. 25 when the it plays host to Purdue Fort Wayne at 6 p.m.
