GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's soccer team was handed its third loss in Horizon League play Wednesday evening when the team welcomed league-leading Milwaukee to Aldo Santaga Stadium. The Panthers put its high-powered offense on full display in the rivalry matchup with an impressive four-goal effort to move to 9-1 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.
It was a balanced attack for MKE as they found the back of the Phoenix net twice each half, scoring early in the second to add insurance to its two-goal advantage. The Panthers enjoyed a strong advantage in shots, 14-4, and shots on goal, 9-2.
The Panthers played 26 members of its roster in the matchup, with eight recording shot attempts on the evening.
McKayla Kertscher led the Phoenix attack with a pair of shots in her 73 minutes on the pitch.

Taylor Reichow split work in the matchup, with each recording two saves and allowing two goals. Corner kicks also favored Milwaukee at 7-1, while the Phoenix totaled five saves to the Panthers' two.
Green Bay returns to action this weekend when the team travels to Rochester, Mich., to take on Oakland in its fourth league matchup of the 2018 campaign. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. CT against the Golden Grizzlies.
