GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay women's soccer team will face off against UIC tomorrow night for their final home game of the 2019 regular season.
Game Information: Wednesday vs. UIC – 7 p.m.
Most Recently for the Phoenix: After scoring two goals in a road victory against Youngstown State, the Phoenix was held scoreless at home in their 0-2 loss to Oakland this past Saturday. Green Bay outshot the Golden Grizzlies 17-6, which included a six to three advantage in shots on goal, but couldn't find the back of the next.
Scouting the Flames: UIC is currently 8-5-1 on the season and 4-2 in the Horizon League thus far. They are coming off back-to-back road victories against Detroit Mercy and Youngstown State, and sit in fifth place in the conference standings. Emma Main (3) leads the Flames in goals scored while three other members of the squad have tallied 2 on the season. Defensively, goalkeeper Lena Kurz leads the way with a goals against average of 0.64 and 38 saves.
