GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) ---The Green Bay volleyball team (15-6, 7-2 HL) needed only three sets to get past Cleveland State and avenge its earlier season loss to the Vikings, winning 25-21, 25-19 and 27-25.

It was the league's best player leading the Phoenix once again, racking up 15 kills and 32 swings, including a pair of blocks and five digs. Wolf has double-digit kills in 19 of 21 matches this season, and continues to pace the Phoenix attack.
Zoi Sherolli registered a career-high 11 kills for GB, matching Wolf's total of 32 attacks. Earning more time of late, Sherolli has 25 kills over her last three matches played.
Maddie Yoss controlled the Phoenix as usual, totaling 39 assists, while chipping in seven digs and four kills.
Defensively, four players racked up at least seven digs, led by
Brenna Hesse with 11.
Annelise Sparks and
Emily Lautenschlager each had nine digs to help keep the Vikings off the scoreboard.
GB held CSU to a -.027 hitting percentage in its second set victory, taking the 2-0 lead before needing extra time in the third set.
Facing set point in the third set at 24-23, GB pulled through with a Wolf kill to tie it up at 24-24. After the match became tied at 25-25, GB stole the final points with kills from Wolf and Sherolli. GB scored four of the final five points in the deciding set.
Next Game
Green Bay will be right back at the Kress Center tomorrow (October 26) with a matchup against Oakland at 4 p.m. CT. The match will serve as alumni night for the program.
