Box Score GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) -- The Green Bay men's soccer team welcomed Detroit Mercy in Horizon League action on Saturday night, with the Phoenix honoring its seniors prior to kickoff. The Phoenix was unable to keep pace with the Titans on the evening, eventually falling 2-0.
UDM was the first to strike, as the Titans took advantage of a penalty just outside the Phoenix box. The set piece sent the ball to the far post where Detroit Mercy senior Garret Weaver used his head to slip a shot past

Detroit Mercy doubled its lead in the 52
nd minute, as the Titans' leading scorer Kyle Bandyk dribbled himself into space and sent a hard struck ball off the crossbar and into the Phoenix net.
GB sits in a three-way tie for third place in the league's standing following Saturday's contests with nine points. Oakland leads the league with 13 points followed closely by UIC with 12.
Green Bay will close out its Horizon League season at Wright State on Saturday, Nov. 2 with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. The Phoenix will close out the regular season at home on Tuesday, Nov. 5 against Eastern Illinois.
