GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay women's soccer team will be back at Aldo Santaga Stadium this weekend in a Horizon League fixture against Wright State.

Most Recently for the Phoenix: The Phoenix made Horizon League-leading Milwaukee sweat in the rivalry match on Wednesday in what ended with 1-0 victory for the team in black and gold. Green Bay conceded the only goal of the contest in the 41st minute on a header from Mackenzie Schill and was unable to net the equalizer. All three of Green Bay's shots were on the mark but none were able to slip past the Panthers' keeper. With the win, Milwaukee still sits atop of the Horizon League.
Scouting the Raiders: Wright State is currently 7-2-2 on the 2019 season and 2-1 in league play. The Raiders are on a two-game winning streak where they have outscored opponents 7-2. They are led by Destiny Johnson who has eight goals, four of which were game-winning goals. Wright State has scored 23 goals this season (2.09 goals per game) and conceded 15 goals (1.36 goals per game) to opponents. Maddie Jewell has started every game and played the full time in goal for the Raiders and has brought in 47 saves on the year which is good enough for a 0.758 save percentage.
